Topco is currently seeking a Logistics Senior Specialist to join our Supply Chain team in Itasca, IL. This position will be a hybrid role, with the successful candidate conducting work in our Itasca office three days per week and virtually two days per week.
The Logistics Senior Specialist is responsible, under general supervision, for the daily execution for the Logistics team and ensuring the operational metrics are met. Additionally, this role is responsible for administrative tasks within the Logistics team.

Warehouse Operations
- Daily warehouse EDI monitoring and inventory reconciliation
- Logistics deductions handling
- Blocked invoices processing and issue resolution
- Relabel/Repack project administration
- Warehouse vendor compliance billing and supplier support
- Over, Short & Damage dispositions and reporting
- Order and monitor all pallet needs / analyze pallet market
- Manage the Logistics queue in Salesforce
- Manage supplier and member returns
- Manage monthly inventory obsolescence disposition process
Transport Operations
- Administration of transportation claims
Administrative
- Document processes - ensure current documentation is in place for all tactical tasks
- Maintains dry and dairy warehouse invoice tracker
- Train and support interns & rotational associates
- Supports supply chain projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- Preferred four-year degree in Business/Operations or Supply Chain Management
Technical Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- SAP ERP and Salesforce experience preferred
- Warehouse/logistics operations experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to conduct research and simple analysis of basic transactional data

- Travel: minimum to no travel expected
Previous Experience:
- Entry-level position with 1-3 years logistics and/or customer service experience preferred
