Position Summary: Coda is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Souring Specialist to join our team. The sourcing specialist is responsible for identifying and developing relationships with reliable international suppliers and vendors to meet organizational needs, optimizing cost effectiveness and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Essential Duties:
· Supplier Sourcing and Management – Lead end-to end sourcing projects; including supplier identification, selection, negotiation and onboarding.
· Cost & Quality Optimization – Develop and execute sourcing strategies to enhance cost efficiency, quality, and supply chain performance while adhering to global trade regulations.
· Product & Supplier Coordination – Oversee sampling, product testing, packaging, ensuring technical specifications and compliance standards are met.
· Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with procurement, quality assurance, and production teams to align sourcing activities with overall business objectives.
· Process Improvement & Risk Management – Drive cost-savings initiatives, conduct supplier audits, analyze cost structures, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
· 3-year minimum experience in global sourcing, procurement or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry.
· Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Experience sourcing from international suppliers, with knowledge of import/export regulations and global trade compliance.
· Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
· Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
· Knowledge of cost breakdown analysis, supplier audits, and risk management best practices.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
