Job Description
We are seeking experienced
EDI Business Analysts to support a major logistics client in Houston, TX. The ideal candidates will have
5–8 years of hands-on experience in EDI implementations and strong client-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between external EDI trading partners and internal business/IT teams.
- Lead requirement gathering, logical mapping, and gap analysis between partner specifications and backend systems.
- Manage end-to-end EDI onboarding, including partner setup, testing, and validation.
- Coordinate and support UAT and ensure successful go-live.
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues promptly.
- Document workflows, mapping specifications, and integration plans.
- Work independently and collaboratively across technical and business teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years as an EDI Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and transaction sets (850, 810, 856, etc.).
- Experience with supply chain, logistics, or transportation domain preferred.
- Ability to work onsite in Houston (3 days/week) and be flexible for more in-office days initially.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice To Have
- Experience working with CEVA Logistics or similar logistics/supply chain clients.
- Familiarity with integration platforms like IBM Sterling, Axway, or OpenText.
- Basic understanding of backend systems like SAP, Oracle, or WMS/TMS.
