Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Lowboy Truck Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for transporting heavy equipment to job sites throughout the Western United States using lowboy tractor trailers. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while representing ARI in the field. This position plays a key role in supporting our operations by ensuring that equipment is delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all DOT regulations and company procedures.

Compensation :
- Wage Range::$35-$40+ per hour depending on experience.
- Per Diem::$40.00 per day when staying in company-paid lodging accomodations.

Schedule & Travel:
- Work Schedule: Full-time, with variable hours based on delivery schedules and operational needs
- Travel: Occasional overnight travel is required throughout the Western United States.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Travel: Occasional overnight travel away from home is required for this position
- Driver License: Valid driver’s license with Class A CDL.
- Hazardous Materials Endorsement (HME): Strongly preferred prior to start date. Candidates without their HAZMAT Endorsement must be willing and eligible to obtain it as a condition of employment.
- Background Check: Required through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in compliance with federal government restrictions.
- Drug Test and Physical Requirement: Pre-employment drug test and physical required. We conduct random drug tests and post-accident drug testing. For safety reasons, we have a zero-tolerance drug policy, including marijuana use.

Job Responsibilities:
- Heavy Equipment Transport: Safely and efficiently operates lowboy tractor trailers to deliver heavy equipment to job sites across the Western United States.
- Equipment Inspections: Conducts daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensures cargo is loaded and secured properly, following all state and federal safety regulations.
- Documentation: Accurately completes logs, bills of lading, permits, and related paperwork.
- Route Planning: Plans and follows efficient routes, considering road conditions, load limits, and Hours of Service regulations.
- Coordination & Communication: Works closely with the Product Support team to arrange permits, escorts, flaggers, and other transport requirements.
- General Duties: Performs any and all duties to support our Transfer and Operations teams.
