SUMMARY:
Directly responsible for effectively and profitably managing and directing the day-to-day aspects of all warehouse operations at Snapdragon Stadium. Oversees one full time direct report and several part time direct reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES DEPENDING ON LOCATION:

OPERATIONS
Meets warehouse operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Also resolves problems and identifies warehouse system improvements.
Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.
Ensures proper inventory levels are being maintained.
Moves inventory by scheduling products to be moved to and from the warehouse, coordinates inventory transfers with related departments.
Maintains storage areas by organizing floor space; adheres to storage design principles.
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with all vendors, evaluate and recommend new products to enhance standards and increase profitability.
Utilizes warehouse staff to load product into the concession stands and premium clubs/bars.
Responsible for receiving correct quantities and performing quality checks on orders from vendors.
Create planograms for all storage areas and keep warehouse areas organized and clean.
Conducts physical cycle counts, reconciles differences, and inputs data.
Maintains perpetual warehouse inventory and completes all purchasing requisitions.
Ensures warehouse and content in warehouse is secured at all times.
Ensures compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
Executes preventative maintenance schedule of all equipment.
STAFFING & DEVELOPMENT
Provides supervision, leadership, training, and development of staff including but not limited to warehouse supervisors, porters, and student warehouse employees.
Plan and prepare work schedules and assign employees to specific duties and tasks.
Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews.
Completes and maintains ServSafe Managers certification and all company training.
GUEST SERVICES
Radiates a positive attitude with all guests that will be infectious and followed by managers/supervisors and other staff.
Addresses complaints and resolves problems.
Holds the team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest service and responds and assists in any departmental guest service issue.
Researches, formulates, and recommends new or upgraded policies and procedures.
Develops and maintains working relationships with customers, coworkers, vendors, student organizations, faculty, staff, and university personnel.
Must comply with and ensure continued, consistent compliance with all company policies, and federal, state, and local laws/regulations including but not limited to employment, safety, and health.
Other duties as assigned.
FINANCIAL
In collaboration with the leadership team, assists the Senior General Manager in preparing budgets and financial reports for all warehouse areas.
Prepares financial projections and forecasts cost/benefits for new projects.
Manage the process for ordering and maintaining all inventories for food and beverage, maintain cost control efforts for labor and waste management.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The minimum preferred requirement for applicants is an Associate’s Degree or higher; plus at least two or more years of warehouse experience in large volume food service preferably in a stadium or entertainment venue. Computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products.
Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, detail oriented, and organization skills required.
Food Handler certificate from the County of San Diego preferred.
A valid state driver’s license is required and ability to drive company vehicles is required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OR STANDARDS REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to read, write and understand English and Spanish is helpful but not required. Requires the ability to follow verbal and written instructions, guidelines, and objectives. Requires the ability to read, comprehend, and interpret general business information. Requires the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, subordinates, vendors, other departments, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Requires the ability to apply basic math concepts; calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, portions, percentages, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY:
Requires the ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out general written or oral instructions. Must be able to multitask, prioritize work and pay attention to detail. Requires good analytical and quantitative skills.
MANUAL DEXTERITY:
Must be able to utilize a computer. Requires the ability to use a variety of office machines and food service equipment.
PHYSICAL COMMUNICATION:
Must have the ability to talk/expressing and/or exchanging ideas and hear/perceiving sounds. Physical appearance presented to the public and internal employees must be professional.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to operate equipment (to include but not limited to) office equipment such as computers, copy machines, and fax machines, cars, trucks, and golf carts. Must be able to move, lift or carry heavy objects or materials up to 165 pounds using proper techniques with or without assistance.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND HAZARDS
Work is regularly performed in a warehouse where there is frequent exposure to food fumes or airborne particles. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat, including humid conditions as well as cleaning chemicals. The employee is regularly exposed to loud noises such as fireworks, crowd noises, announcements, etc. within a stadium environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The person holding this position is considered a ‘mandated reporter’ under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act pursuant to California Penal Code Section 11166.5.
BACKGROUND CHECK INFORMATION:
A background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment is extended by the company and accepted by the applicant and must be satisfactorily completed prior to any applicant beginning work in a full-time, part-time non-student, or sensitive student capacity with Aztec Shops Ltd.
Background checks will include, at minimum, verification of education and employment histories, criminal records, national sex offender registry check, and references. Additionally, based on the nature and scope of the position, the background check may also include a credit report, motor vehicle report, and verification of professional licenses.
