Job Summary:

The Senior Customer Service Representative will handle customer coordination, routing for all shipments via web portal, scheduling and load planning per routing instructions. Create and maintain open and honest partnership with customers to provide best in class service and strong company culture.

Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned or requested:

Contact retail traffic department via retailer website, phone, and email. WALMART EXPERIENCE +
Submit all required information into the retailer website portal timely and accurately.
Review shipping guides to study the necessary requirements for shipments.
Process and prepare loads for picking.
Review any routing issue, order shortages, etc. and work directly with the customer and/or inbound team to resolve.
Ongoing management of open order report.
Promptly respond to customer inquiries.
Carrier coordination and scheduling of all loads.
Work collaboratively and effectively with all account staff and managers.
Complete bill of ladings and shipping paperwork to ensure efficient traffic movement.
Calculate total quantities of products by weight and/or volumetric measurements.

Qualifications:

Logistics, trucking or 3PL experience preferred.
Computer literate.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Must be organized and have effective communication skills.
Basic math skills for practical applications.
Ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
Time management.
Excellent command of written and spoken English ( +).
Ability to understand problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily.

Physical and Mental Demands:

Monday through Friday 8am – 4:30pm.
Workweeks in excess of 40 hours may exist periodically throughout the year during peak season with occasional weekend work.
Must be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment dedicated to satisfying the customer and achievement of safety, quality and productivity goals in a time sensitive environment.
General office working conditions, with occasional warehouse floor work.
Requires the ability to frequently sit and use hands in a repetitive motion on the computer.
Occasionally requires the ability to lift/carry boxes up to 20 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
