Job Overview
Sampl is seeking a highly organized Supply Chain and Warehouse Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the supply chain, production, warehousing and coordinating various projects that ensure the efficient production and compliant distribution of our unique wine products. The role will oversee inventory management, production scheduling, and logistics while also assisting with compliance requirements with our head of compliance. This role will work closely with vendors, customers, and internal teams like production, enology, and bottling teams to ensure seamless operations and timely product delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and has a strong background in supply chain,product development, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels of raw materials and finished goods.
· Inbound and outbound control for shipping receiving raw materials and bulk wine
· Coordinate production scheduling with the production team to meet demand forecasts and optimize efficiency.
· Manage product production timelines end-to-end, from procurement to distribution.
· Work closely with the enology team to align on quality standards and production needs.
· Assist with bottling and labeling line operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
· Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, assisting with reporting and tracking as needed.
· Optimize warehouse organization and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
· Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of raw goods.
· Serve as the primary operational point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
· Generate reports on inventory, production schedules, and compliance metrics for leadership.
· Drive improvement agenda for Supply Chain and Warehouse Management.
Qualifications & Skills
· 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, inventory control, or warehouse operations, preferably in the food & beverage industry.
· Strong understanding of production scheduling, logistics, and procurement.
· Experience with compliance in the beverage/alcohol industry is a plus.
· Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
· Proficiency in WMS/ERP systems or inventory management software and Excel/Google Sheets.
· Proficiency in Shopify+
· Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
