FedEx Ground utilizes privately owned, independent contractors to service its delivery and pick-up service. You will be employed by an independent contractor and supplied with a truck and everything you need to deliver and pick up customer's packages in a designated area.

Looking for experienced, dependable drivers committed to safety and customer service.

Job Type is a permanent full-time position.

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have minimum 1-year verifiable commercial driving experience in last 3 years. (CDL license NOT required)
Clean driving record for the previous 3 years.
Pass Background Screening (No DUI’s or Felonies)
Pass Drug Screen & DOT Physical
E-Verify

Applicants MUST MEET the above requirements to be considered for the position.

Daily Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Work independently and as part of a team
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with operating officer
Accurately operate handheld scanner
Operate truck safely at all times

Compensation:

Salary of $800-$900 a week
Paid on the job training
2-weeks paid vacation earned after one year of service
