Must have experience as a freight broker and knowledge about getting customers!

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. This role involves engaging with customers in a retail environment, providing product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The Sales Associate will play a crucial role in driving sales and maintaining the store's reputation for excellent service.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns promptly.
Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling, process transactions accurately, and maintain the cash register.
Engage with customers through effective communication to promote sales and upsell products.
Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are stocked and displays are well-presented.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance.
Demonstrate knowledge of store promotions, product features, and benefits to assist customers effectively.
Adhere to phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries via phone or other communication channels.

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not mandatory.
Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply as this can enhance customer interactions.
Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems are advantageous.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse clientele.
A proactive approach to selling, with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

Pay: $73,268.00 - $150,000.00 per year
