Job Overview
The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing logistics operations across warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment and delivery services. This role ensures products are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and on time, while leading a team and collaborating cross-functionally to optimize team efficiencies.

This position requires regular travel to warehouse locations and will require air travel. A company vehicle is provided for business-related local travel.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end logistics operations including inbound and outbound transportation, shipping/receiving, and inventory control.
Lead, train, and supervise logistics and warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety and operational standards.
Monitor and optimize delivery routes, freight costs, and turnaround times.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to streamline workflows.
Oversee warehouse and delivery scheduling to align with production, sales, and customer delivery timelines.
Develop and track KPIs related to logistics efficiency, cost control, and service quality.
Identify areas for improvement in processes, systems, and technology, and lead implementation efforts.
Prepare reports, budget forecasts, and analyses for leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
Travel as needed to support operations, conduct site visits, and manage vendor relationships.

Requirements

5+ years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain management experience.
Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience negotiating with carriers and freight providers.
Must be able to travel regularly to various locations.
Valid driver’s license required.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
