Procurement Analyst
Job Summary:
As an Entry-Level Procurement Analyst, you will assist in driving and supporting procurement and sourcing initiatives aimed at process improvements within the renewable energy sector. You will work closely with our procurement team to enhance procurement processes, analyze data, and manage supplier relationships. Key Job Responsibilities:
- Procurement Support: Assist in sourcing suppliers, requesting quotes, and evaluating proposals. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Data Analysis: Analyze procurement data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements. Prepare reports and presentations to support strategic decisions.
- Supplier Management: Help manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, resolve issues, and administer contracts.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness. Propose actionable solutions based on analysis.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information. Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and operations, to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
- Market Research: Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and emerging suppliers in the renewable energy sector.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management. Relevant internships or academic projects in procurement or renewable energy are acceptable.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience: Previous internship or work experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly in procurement or supply chain roles.
- Skills: Familiarity with procurement software and systems. Knowledge of supply chain management principles and sourcing strategies.
- Knowledge: Understanding of solar and renewable energy technologies and market dynamics.
