Description: JOB SUMMARY:
Four Day Work Week / Home Daily
Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday (depends on availability).
Hiring active CDL-A delivery drivers. Position starts at warehouse and returns to warehouse every day - NON OTR!
Prospective candidate will be paired with a driver trainer for a 60 day training period where advanced driving techniques, handheld skill sets, and product knowledge will be taught. The ultimate objective being the prospective trainee obtain a Class-A CDL, or be assigned to a delivery route for CDL-A holders.
SCHEDULE: 4 DAY WORK WEEK!
Typical start time is between 4:30am and 5:00am. Length of workday is until the route is finished.
Starting Pay: $27.50 for initial 90-day training period. $29.30 after training completes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Learn safe driving and delivery techniques.
- Deliver the right products to the right accounts in the expected quantities.
- Service all assigned route customers by end of shift each day.
- Merchandise all accounts to supplier and IBEV standards.
- Execute sales and delivery objectives by working collaboratively with other IBEV employees.
- Responsible for complying with all Quality Assurance guidelines and quality policies of IBEV and suppliers.
- Adheres to all IBEV policies, procedures, and training to include safety.
- Generate and print invoices on portable devices.
- Interact with store management and receiving personnel.
- Is responsible for daily settlement of returned product and customer payment.
- Establish and maintain professional customer relationships; identify and resolve customer concern.
- Must be able to lift +130 lbs. regularly and routinely as well as push +200 lbs. handcart load.
- Other Assigned Duties.
Basic Qualifications:
- 18 years or older.
- Basic handheld (phone) skills.
- Pass drug screen and DOT physical.
- CDL A license
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Capable of loading and unloading beverages
