Manufacturing Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement, logistics, and production planning while ensuring the efficient flow of materials and information throughout the supply chain. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in Lean manufacturing principles and experience with systems such as Oracle EBS and SAP.
Duties
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals.
- Manage procurement processes to ensure timely acquisition of materials.
- Oversee logistics operations to optimize transportation and distribution.
- Collaborate with production teams to facilitate effective production planning.
- Utilize MRP systems to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Foster relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to supply chain operations.
- Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics roles.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and inventory management.
- Proficiency in MRP systems; experience with Oracle EBS and SAP is preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
