Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, transportation and logistics
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods
-Manage all fleet logistics and transportation assets
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement team to maintain optimal stock levels
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms for procurement
- Create and manage budgets for warehouse operations, including forecasting expenses and analyzing profit loss
- Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and best practices
- Proficient in budgeting, procurement, and inventory management
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with transportation planning and managing transportation providers
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
