Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry is looking for a Transportation Coordinator to join our team and help drive our shipping operations to the next level. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organizing logistics, coordinating with others, and ensuring products arrive on time and in perfect condition.
What You’ll Do:
Process shipping paperwork and schedule transportation to meet critical delivery timelines
Send out Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN’s) and update customer portals
Work with carriers to quote and coordinate expedited shipments
Maintain accurate basket/container inventory and reorder when necessary
Electronically file and organize shipping records
Support Shipping Clerks in the warehouse with clear and timely shipment instructions
Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth and on-time shipments
What You Bring to the Team:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
Strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a team environment and adapt to shifting priorities
Previous experience with shipping/logistics is a plus!
Physical & Work Environment: This role is primarily office-based with occasional exposure to our production/manufacturing environment. You’ll be on the move—talking, reaching, standing, and occasionally lifting items up to 25 lbs.
