Role and Responsibilities

· The Operations Manager, reporting to the Vice President of Operations, will be responsible for directing, administering, and

coordinating the activities of both production and support functions during the second shift in alignment with company

policies, goals, and objectives.

· Safety and Quality: Actively promotes and fosters a culture of "Safety First & Quality Always."

· Management: Direct line management of Production Supervisors and Stock Controllers, with dotted line responsibility for

Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Shipping & Receiving departments (Second Shift).

· Food Safety: Demonstrates a commitment to food safety by leading by example and adhering to pre-established programs.

· Training: Required to attend initial and annual refresher training for LOTO, Emergency Response, GMP, HACCP, and Food

Defense.

· Continuous Improvement: Must successfully demonstrate working knowledge of continuous improvement and operational

excellence.

· Critical Thinking: Utilizes critical thinking to foster educated and informed decision-making processes.

· Compliance: Maintains an audit-ready operation that complies with internal and external regulatory requirements.

· KPI Monitoring: Compiles, analyzes, and cascades operational KPIs to ensure continuous monitoring and improvement.

· Labor Scheduling: Works closely with Production Supervisors to organize and schedule labor to achieve pre-established

targets.

· Labor Management: Oversees labor management, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and addressing any workforce-

related issues promptly.

· Inventory Accuracy: Maintains accurate stock movement and production consumption to ensure high inventory accuracy.

· Sanitation: Liaises with third-party sanitation on a nightly basis to maintain high standards of cleanliness and equipment

readiness.

· Production Planning: Collaborates with production planning and supply chain functions to ensure timely preparation of

ingredients for vertical startup after sanitation cycles.

Skills and Requirements

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.

· Experience: 5+ years of experience in production management or operations leadership within a manufacturing environment.

· Lean Manufacturing: Experienced in lean manufacturing, with a focus on Food and Beverage manufacturing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
