Position Summary
The Supply Chain Specialist will play a key role in supporting the organization’s procurement and supply chain functions. This individual will analyze supply chain data and trends to optimize processes and ensure the availability of essential medical and office supplies across all QualDerm Partners locations. This role involves close collaboration with various departments to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve inventory management.
Supply Chain Analysis & Optimization
- Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency
- Support the implementation of supply chain technology and best practices to improve operations
- Develop and maintain reporting tools to track supply chain performance and inform decision-making
- Collaborate with departments to forecast demand, optimize order quantities, and improve lead times
- Monitor, track, and escalate emerging supply chain issues as needed
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Manage the full procurement process from requisition to delivery
- Coordinate procurement activities using the Coupa spend management platform
- Ensure requisitions align with procurement policies and budget controls
- Obtain quotes, place orders, and ensure compliance with contracts and service agreements
- Work with vendors to negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms
- Gather product/service information, including pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify specifications and expectations
- Approve requisitions to ensure controlled spending and support long-term savings initiatives
Inventory & Supplies Management
- Manage inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment of medical and office supplies
- Coordinate ordering and delivery of supplies with vendors and suppliers
- Work across departments to assess supply needs and ensure timely fulfillment
Cross-functional Collaboration & Support
- Partner with various teams to ensure procurement and supply chain activities meet business needs
- Respond to and resolve internal support requests through the Supply Chain ticketing system (Fresh Service)
- Contribute to the achievement of annual goals for the Supply Chain department
- Ensure alignment and timely execution of procurement tasks across teams
Requirements
- Preferred degree is a Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a similar field
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, procurement, or inventory management, required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
