Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of freight, including refrigerated trailers and flatbeds.

Duties

Operate and drive various types of trucks, including flatbed, dump, and van trailers.
Load and unload freight securely and efficiently.
Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
Proven experience as a truck driver, with a strong understanding of route driving and delivery processes.
Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading freight is preferred.
Familiarity with handling different types of freight including dump trailer, flatbeds, and van trailers is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
