Job Description

Atlantic Restoration & Waterproofing is seeking an experienced truck driver to make deliveries to our jobsites. The Driver will pick-up materials at local vendors and deliver to several job sites around the area. You must have a 100% clean driving record, be able to pass a drug test, and pass rigorous security checks for government buildings. Our work is primarily during the day; however, you must be capable of making deliveries at night and weekends as needed. This is a full-time position with possible overtime. Prior experience in construction delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

Non-CDL Truck Driving: Drive a 20 ft stake bed truck to collect and deliver construction materials from our warehouse to and from our construction job sites. Safely maneuver city and highway traffic and manage difficult drop-off locations while following all local driving laws. Assist in loading and unloading materials when necessary. Conduct truck pre and post safety inspections.
Material Handling: Use hand trucks and forklifts to load or unload construction materials. Must be able to secure loads and balance weights withing the truck bed. Must be able to organize materials strategically to facilitate deliveries at multiple locations.
Warehouse: Assist in warehouse organization and inventory of materials.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License
Minimum of 3 years of experience driving 20 ft stake body trucks.
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Current DOT medical card.
Ability to bend, stoop, lift, carry, and manipulate loads of up to 50 pounds.
Able to work dayshift, nightshift, and weekends as needed.
Ability to pass drug & alcohol screening.
Ability to pass background checks required for local site access.
Punctual and dependable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
